How to choose the right pair of sunglasses

1. Style

Choose a style that not only matches your personal style but your lifestyle as well.

We offer several different styles including the wrap around fit (Renegade, Outlaw, Stampedes, Scouts), everyday or relaxed fit (Decoy) and aviator (Tomahawk). The wrap around fit sunglasses hug the contours of your face preventing the sun's rays from creeping in around the edges, they are ideal for outdoor sports and activities such as fishing, hunting, hiking and running. They also look great on almost every face shape. The relaxed fit sunglasses (Decoys, Aviators) are much more versatile and casual, and can be worn on any of life’s little adventures. They are a more regular fit and sit flatter off the face. They are perfect for everyday wear from work to the beach, and everywhere in between.

2. Lens 

Choose a lens that offers adequate UV protection and reduces glare.

All of our lenses offer 100% UVA/B/C protection and are compliant with Australian Standards AS/NZS 1067:2016. Each pair of Skeleton Optics Sunglasses feature polarized polycarbonate ZEISS lenses, boasting glare free vision with high image definition, superior contrast and a reduction in eye fatigue. Each lens incorporates the most advanced technology of two premium coatings developed by Carl Zeiss Vision Technology laboratories. NB. Our mirror coatings (Blue Gun, Bronze Titanic, Silver Chrome, Gray) are transparent in nature and do not change the characteristics of the gray based lens. These are for aesthetics only. If you plan to use your sunglasses to hunt we recommend selecting a gray lens so as to avoid any unnecessary reflections that might give you away in the bush. 

3. Fit

Choose a frame that fits comfortably and securely on your face.

All of our frames are crafted from Grilamid® TR-90, a superior material that is incredibly strong, resistant to chemicals, and feather-light. At Skeleton Optics we have poured our heart and soul into designing and making our own frame molds, which means that they are exclusive to our brand, purpose built for the outdoors and above all comfortable for you. With added features like Megol™ non-slip nose pads to keep the frames firmly in place, even when you sweat or get wet and Integral hinges allowing for easy and smooth application and removal of the frames, as well as a secure hold.
